After a long absence, caused by the ‘Covid’ closing of the Getty Villa, the Patrons held a long awaited return for their ‘Members Only’ visit on Sunday, May 22, to experience the dual exhibitions of Ancient Assyria and Persia, led by Dr. Sara Cole.

Prior to their exclusive curator tour, a café luncheon was enjoyed by a dozen members and the Patrons were treated to many facts and the history of the exhibitions by Dr. Cole, Asst. Curator, reports Paul Romano, President.

After a lovely luncheon, Dr. Cole led the Patron members on a most wonderful tour which included many artifacts on loan from the British Museum. Her incredible knowledge of the ancient works of art on display and the background history of the ancient periods added to the experience.
