About Patrons
Mission Statement
Patrons of Italian Culture is a non profit, tax exempt 501 C-3, California Corporation, which sponsors extensive programs and exciting activities emphasizing the many aspects of Italian culture and its rich heritage. The Patrons operate under the auspices of the Consul General of Italy. Membership is open to all who have a deep love and appreciation of the Italian culture and will support the Patrons activities which exemplify the essence of all elements of the Italian culture and heritage.
The activities of the Patrons feature varied programs of outstanding cultural content including, but not limited to: art exhibits, music recitals, opera and ballet programs, concerts, art and history lectures, Italian cinema, etc. Programs are held at various venues throughout the LA area; including, the Istituto Di Italiano Cultura in Westwood, the Getty Villa and Getty Museum, and other cultural institutions. Announcements of programs and events are distributed on a regular basis to keep members informed of upcoming activities. Proceeds from memberships and cultural programs contribute to many activities, including The Casola Prize, a college scholarship for the study of the Italian language and the expansion of Italian culture, the publishing of books on Italian culture and history, and support for the Italian Cultural Institute and other local and national Italian American organizations.

Annual dues are the “life blood” that sustains this organization in its effort to promote the Italian Culture throughout Southern California with programs and events that represent the best in Italian Culture. Contributions to the Patrons of Italian Culture are fully tax deductible.
