Casola Prize Applications for 2023

"Full Time" undergraduate and graduate students of Italian descent, enrolled at an accredited educational institution are eligible for consideration for this scholarship. A major or minor in Italian Language or Italian Studies is not a prerequisite; however, consideration will be given to the applicant's course of study.

The Patrons anticipate awarding the Casola Prize(s) for 2023 in the approximate total amount of $ 4,000. Funding of the Casola Prize will be deposited to the account of the contest winners at the academic institution he or she is currently attending.

Please submit the attached entry form, your resume and academic standing, and a letter addressed to: The Board of Directors, Patrons of Italian Culture. Your letter should contain a detailed explanation of your course of study, the basis of your interest in the Italian Language or Culture, and how you plan to use your knowledge or academic degree in promoting the awareness of the importance and contributions of Italian Language and Culture to the world.

Finalists may be interviewed during the month of June or July by the Patrons of Italian Culture’s Board of Directors. Entries must be postmarked no later than April 30, 2023 and mailed to:
